Please help us save Carpinteria Beach Cottages!

Dear Friends,

First of all, thank you for supporting the Carpinteria Beach Cottages since opening in 2012. We love what we have created – memories! Family reunions, weddings, vacations, getaways, new friendships, traditions, and even magazine photo shoots.

It has been very rewarding to be a part of … more than we would ever have imagined.

Unfortunately, in 2017, the Carpinteria City Council voted to end short term (less than 30 days) vacation rentals at the train tracks (yes, we are on the wrong side of the tracks), effective July 1, 2022.

We will have the opportunity to meet with the City Council on September 26, asking them to reconsider the initiative decision.

YOU CAN HELP US SAVE CARPINTERIA BEACH COTTAGES by filling out this quick and easy comment form. We will be passing your comments on to Council members prior to our September 13th meeting. We believe that your enthusiasm for THE COTTAGES will persuade them to reconsider closing us down for overnight travelers.

Thank you again for your vital support,
Thom Vernon and family

“Lisa, the property manager, helped us feel welcomed and very at home after a long drive from snow country. We needed the break and the feel of the beach vibe. Rode the cruiser bicycles. Cooked in the super cool retro kitchen. Read novels on the front porch. And enjoyed long walks on the beach. Highly recommend for any reason and any season!” – Josh & Mary Beth Wilds, Montana
